Modi inaugurates 6 Indian-aided projects

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has unveiled six foundation plaques under New Delhi's aid programme. He inaugurated those projects ranging from college dormitory to waste treatment plant at Indian High Commission’s new chancery complex on Sunday in the morning. Modi went to the new High Commission at Baridhara around 9:45am after visiting the Dhakeshwari National Temple and Ramkrishna Mission in Old Dhaka in the morning. Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Pankaj Saran, Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor AAMS Arefin Siddique and top officials of the organisations related to the projects were present. Modi later planted a bud seedling at the courtyard of the complex.
SIX PRJECTS
1) India-Bangladesh Maitri Girls Hostel at Government Victoria College, Narail.
2) Construction of 3rd floor of Blind Education & Rehabilitation Development Organisation, Mirpur, Dhaka.
3) Sewerage System, Sewage treatment plant and waste water treatment plant, Kumudini Hospital, Mirzapur, Tangail.
4) Establishment of Hindi Department at the Institute of Modern Languages of University of Dhaka.
5) Recording Studio and Music Department at the University of Dhaka.
6) Assistance to Department of Dance, University of Dhaka, according to bdnews24.com.
