Mohammedan, Abahani earn identical win

Mohammedan SC and Abahani Limited earned identical 1-0 win in their respective 2nd match of the Citycell Bangladesh League at separate venues across the country Friday, reports UNB.
At the Narayanganj Stadium, Federation Cup holders Mohammedan SC beat Narayanganj Shuktara Jubo Sangsad by a solitary goal scored by striker Zahid Hasan Emily in the 24th minute.
In the other match at the Feni Stadium, holders Abahani Limited also scraped to lone goal victory against hosts Feni Soccer Club.
Ghanaian striker Sheriff Din Mohammed scored the all-important goal for Abahani from penalty in the 89th minute.
