Mohammedan beat Uttar Baridhara

Dhaka Mohammedan SC advanced to the 3rd slot in the Nitol-Tata Bangladesh Premier League beating bottom-ranked Uttar Baridhara Club by 2-0 goals at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Sunday, reports UNB.
After a barren first half, national colour striker Zahid Hasan Emily put Mohammedan SC ahead in the 83rd minute while Sifat confirmed the Mohammedan's victory adding one more goal in injury time (91 minutes)
With the day's victory, the traditional black and white Mohammedan SC secured 35 points from 20 matches to topple Muktijoddha Sangsad KC, which bagged 33 points from 20 encounters.
Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club dominates the league securing 45 points. Dhaka Abahani Limited followed the leaders with 38 points while Uttar Baridhara Club remained at bottom of the ten-team league with 12 points, all playing 20 matches each.
