Mohila Dal president, secy gen get HC bail

Tuesday, 13 February 2018

The High Court on Monday granted a 10-week ad-interim bail to Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal President Afroza Abbas and its Secretary General Sultana Ahmed in three violence cases filed with Ramna Police Station, reports UNB.
An HC bench of Justice Obaidul Hassan and Justice Krishna Debnath passed the order after hearing separate petitions.
The HC also asked the two top leaders of BNP's women wing to surrender before the lower court after their bail period expires.
The cases were filed on charge of obstructing law enforcers from discharging their duties on February 8 after a court sentenced BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to five years' imprisonment in the Zia Orphanage Trust case.
