Mominul to skipper A team against India

Bangladesh Cricket Board has made Mominul Haque captain of Bangladesh A team that will visit India next week. BCB released a media statement on Tuesday, announcing a 15-man squad for the tour.
The selectors went for a strong squad picking1four national team players. Left-arm spinner Saqlain Sajib is the only player who is yet to play international cricket. Allrounder Nasir Hossain has been chosen as Mominul's deputy. Although seniors like Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah are not in the squad, it has the other big names in Bangladesh cricket. Batsman Anamul Haque, who has been out of the national team since an early return from this year's World Cup, has got the chance to reassert his claim for a spot at the top level. Having played only one match after being in the squad for successive series, opener Rony Talukdar, too, has the opportunity to show his prowess.  
Al-Amin Hossain, who had been out of reckoning for several months, got a place in the squad. He, too, caught an early flight from Australia and New Zealand for disciplinary reasons in February this year and has not played for Bangladesh since then.
The team will fly to Bengaluru on Sep 13. They are scheduled to play three 50-over matches and two three-dayers. Bangladesh A will play a three-day game against the Ranji Trophy champions Karnataka while all the other matches are against India A.
India A team may feature the likes of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu in preparation for the next month's South Africa tour, according to bdnews24.com.
