Monjurul, Mamun re-elected BSJA president, gen secy

BSS senior reporter Syed M Mamun was reelected general secretary of Bangladesh Sports Journalists' Association (BSJA) for the next two years in it]s biennial general meeting held at its office in the city Friday, reports UNB.
Earlier, Monjurul Haque (Independent) was reelected BSJA President unopposed.
Arifur Rahman Babu (Janakantha) and Mohammad Saiduzzaman (Amar Desh) were elected vice-presidents and Raihan Al Mugni (New Age) treasurer. They were also elected uncontested.
Five elected executive committee members are Anisur Rahman (BD News), Ranjan Sen (Desh TV), Mosarraf Hossain (Purbakon), Tareq Mahmud
(Prathom Alo) and Ajoy Barua (Sangbad).
Renowned journalist and former president of Dhaka Reporters' Unity M Shafiqul Karim Sabu was the election commissioner. Forty-one voters, out of 45, cast their rights in the election.
