Moon sighting committee meeting June 28

A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee will be held in the Islamic Foundation conference room in Baitul Mukkaram complex on Saturday (June 28), said a press release of the Islamic Foundation on Thursday. The meeting will begin at 7.15pm. The meeting will review the news of moon sighting for the holy month of Ramadan of 1435 hijri and take decision in this regard. Minister for the Religious Affairs and chairman of the National Moon Sighting Committee Alhaz Principal Matiur Rahman will preside over the meeting. People have been requested to inform about moon sighting through telephone and fax numbers of the Islamic Foundation if they can see the moon from anywhere across the country. The telephone numbers of the Islamic Foundation are 9559493, 9559643, 9555947, 9556407 and 9558337 and the fax number is 9563397, the press release added.
