Moon Sighting Committee meeting Sunday

A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee will be held in the conference room of the Islamic Foundation (IF) at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque complex in the city on Sunday. The meeting will be held at 6:00pm and it will review the news of moon sighting of the holy ‘Safar’ month of 1436 Hijri year. Religious Affairs Minister and President of the committee Alhaj Principal Matiur Rahman will preside over the meeting. People have been requested to inform the committee if they watch the Safar moon anywhere in the country, over telephone or fax.
