Moon sighting committee meets tomorrow

The National Moon Sighting Committee will sit tomorrow (Thursday) to set the date of Eid-ul-Fitr after reviewing news of sighting of the Shawal moon, reports UNB. The meeting will be held at the conference room of Islamic Foundation (Baitul Mukarram) at about 7:10 pm, according to a PID handout. If the moon is sighted anywhere in the country people have been requested to inform the foundation over the following phone and fax numbers. The numbers are: 9559493, 9559643, 9555947, 9556407 and 9558337. Fax no: 9563397.
