More BRTC buses, taxicabs to operate in city

Communications Minister Obaidul Quader said on Thursday that the government will soon operate more BRTC buses and taxicabs in the city to case transport crisis. "More BRTC buses and taxicabs will be launched soon in the city and necessary steps will be taken to reduce traffic congestions here,'' he said. The minister was talking to reporters after visiting the beautification work on Banani and Airport roads in the city ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup Cricket 2014. — UNB
