More ventures for capital mkt from CSE soon

The new Dhaka office of Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd was inaugurated at Dilkusha in the city Saturday.
CSE president Fakhor Uddin Ali Ahmed formally opened the office.
CSE Members and guests from SEC, DSE, merchant banks and listed companies were present on the occasion.
Mr. Fakhor Uddin Ali Ahmed in his address said that CSE has been the pioneer for Automated Trading System, Central Depository System, Internet Trading Services (ITS), OTC module, Book Building Method, formation of South Asian Federation of Stock Exchanges (SAFE) and many more.
The human resources of this dynamic bourse are relentlessly trying to take new initiatives such as introduction of Derivatives, Index Fund etc. for the diversification of investment risk so that country's capital market could be strengthened. He said CSE new Dhaka office will be equipped with highly qualified professionals so that its member service quality gets improved.
Former president Mr. Nasiruddin Ahmed Chowdhury while speaking appreciated the present Board's performance in setting up a new office at Dhaka.
Another former president Mr. MKM Mohiuddin said CSE will soon introduce next generation trading system and its bidding process has already been finalized. Investors will see modern and user friendly software where many new trading features will be incorporated.
Mr. Al Maruf Khan, Vice President of CSE said the bourse is grateful to its past leaders especially for Mr. Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and his team whose tenure contributed a lot for the development of capital market.
Professor Dr. M A Mamun, Chief Executive Officer of CSE appealed CSE Members to trade in CSE as much as possible so that its market share is rapidly increased. He said CSE secretariat feels proud in maintaining transparency in all areas of its operation level.
