Morgan Stanley asked to hire StanChart team

HONG KONG, Mar 18 (Bloomberg): Morgan Stanley, ranked third in investment-banking fees for 2009, hired Janice Dunnett and two other executives from Standard Chartered Plc's convertible bonds team in Hong Kong, people with knowledge of the matter said.
Dunnett, former global head of convertible bond sales at Standard Chartered, will lead Morgan Stanley's convertible bond business in Asia and start in mid-April, two of the people said, asking not to be identified. Ronnie Potel, 34, former global head of origination for equity-linked securities at London-based Standard Chartered, will head convertible bond origination for Asia-Pacific at Morgan Stanley, the people said.
