Principal and Managing Director of European Standard School (ESS) Md Morshedul Islam and Principal Head of School, Cardiff International School Dhaka (CISD) GM Nizam Uddin have been elected president and secretary general respectively of Bangladesh English Medium School Association (BEMSA).
BEMSA formed the nine-member committee of the association at its general meeting held in the capital recently, a media release said Friday.
Chairperson of Siddiqui's International School Riffat Ahmed has been selected as its treasurer while other office-bearers are: ESS Chairman Mr Abdullah, Academia Director Md Kutubuddin, Vice Principal of Siddiqui's International School Nahed Arifa Alam, Vice Principal of Sir John Wilson School Farhana Zaman, Principal of Summerfield School Anjum Hossain and Teacher of Junior Laboratory School Asiruddin.
BEMSA Secretary General GM Nizam Uddin said the association is committed to bringing all the English medium schools under a united platform for their own sustainability and well-being.
The newly-formed committee has requested the English medium schools across the country to join the association as soon as possible.
