Mosharraf alerts law enforcers against terrorism, vandalism

FARIDPUR, Dec 27: Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Engineer Khondoker Mosharraf Hossain alerted the law enforcing agencies Saturday against any kind of terrorist activities and vandalism in name of political demonstration in the district.
Addressing a meeting of the district law and order committee as the chief guest at the conference room of Deputy Commissioner (DC), Mosharraf said that it is the prime responsibility of the government to protect the lives and properties of the citizens so that none would be allowed to carry out indiscipline acts hampering the public life. The meeting was chaired by DC Sardar Sharafat Ali.
The minister said that observing peaceful demonstration is the constitutional right of anybody, but to create vandalism and doing other terrorist activities cannot be accepted and those elements will be dealt with accordingly.
He said that creating awareness among the people is the precondition of good law and order and expressed his satisfaction about the prevailing law and order situation across the district.
