Mosharraf stresses on law and order

Overseas Employment and Expatriate Welfare Minister Engineer Khondoker Mosharraf Hossain has said that the government has given highest importance for maintaining law and order in the right direction to ensure safety of the people and property across the country. Mosharraf, while addressing a view exchange meeting on law and order held on Charmadhabdia Moezuddin High school ground in Faridpur Sadar upazila, said that despite many challenges faced by the government for the last five years 'We were successful in ensuring law and order congenial for the development activities and also for continuing the prosperity of country'. The Minister called upon the law enforcers to show 'zero tolerance' to any offenders irrespective of political beliefs and social status. The Minister also sought cooperation of the people to maintain law order for ensuring unhindered progress. He mentioned amidst cheers that this district is known to all as a terror free district. The meeting was presided over by Charmadhabdia union chairman Tuhinur Rahman Mondol was also addressed, among others, by Sadar upazilla parishad chairman Kh Mohtesham Hossain Babor, Police super Md Jamil Hasan, Awami League advisory council member SM Nurunnabi and Zilla parishad chairman Kazi Jainul Abedin. Former union parishad chairman and Charmadhabdia union BNP president Golam Mostofa Ada joined Awami League in the meeting, according to BSS.
