Mosque inaugurated at Belabo

A grand mosque, constructed with Tk 35 million, was inaugurated Saturday at Belabo in Narshingdi district, said a press release.
Narshingdi deputy commissioner Amrita Baroi, Belabo upazila nirbahi officer Niranjan Chandra Debanath and constructor of the mosque Abdul Kadir Mollah, among others, were present at the inaugural ceremony.
At least 12,000 people will say prayers at a time at the mosque of 200 feet length and 125 feet width.
Mosque imam Shah Alam said renowned industrialist of Narshingdi district Abdul Kadir Mollah carried the whole construction cost of the mosque.
Locals said industrialist Abdul Kadir Mollah has been making tremendous contribution to different development works including education sector, employment creation and building houses for the poor and helpless people of the district for long.
