Mostafa Quamrus Sobhan new chair of Rupali Insurance

The board of directors of Rupali Insurance Company Limited has elected Mostafa Quamrus Sobhan as its new chairman.
The announcement was made at the 212th board meeting of the company, following the demise of former chairman Mostafa Golam Quddus, said a press release.
Mostafa Quamrus Sobhan, also the managing director of Dragon Group, has a long experience working in various sectors including insurance, education, ready-made garments and textile industries.
In addition to his corporate endeavours, Mr Sobhan is the first honorary consul of Uruguay in Bangladesh since 2023, working towards enhancing bilateral trade and diplomatic relations between the two nations.
Mr Sobhan has expressed gratitude to the Rupali Insurance's board for keeping trust in him.
