TANGAIL, Feb 24: In a peaceful election, Golam Mostofa Miah was elected president and NM Abdur Rashid general secretary of Tangail District Bar Association.
The election of the Bar was held at its library auditorium recently.
Of the total 17 posts with the general secretary, Awami Ainjibi Parishad bagged nine posts and with the president, Jatiyotabadi Ainjibi Forum bagged 8 posts.
Advocate Shamsul Alom Lal, and Advocates Kabir Hossain Uzzal and Humyun Kabir were the election commissioner and assistant commissioners of the election.
