Motahar stresses social movement to ensure universal primary edn

RANGPUR, Jan 8 (BSS): State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Motahar Hossain has stressed for launching social movement to ensure universal primary education for all and eradicating school dropouts and child marriage.
He was addressing a public gathering jointly organised by Shishu Forum and Fakirpara union parishad with the assistances of Plan Bangladesh (PB) at the union parishad premises under Hatibandha Upazila in Lalmonirhat district Saturday as the chief guest.
Earlier, the State Minister formally inaugurated a bicycle rally participated by over 300 students with banners, festoons and placards at Barokhata High School ground nearby.
Chairman of Fakirpara union parishad Nurul Islam chaired the public gathering while UNO of Hatibandha Upazila Md Ashrafuzzaman attended as the special guest.
Programme Unit Manager of PB Mahfuzur Rahman, its Development Officer (Education) Shafiul Azam, Deputy Area Coordinator Shahana Akhter Suchi and Barokhata union Chairman AHM Jamal Hossain addressed.
