Mother of Pubali Bank MD dead

Mrs. Ahmuda Khanam Chowdhury, mother of Mr. Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, Managing Director & CEO of Pubali Bank Limited and Dr. Kamal Ahmed Chowdhury, Head of Sociology Department, Shahjalal University of Science & Technology passed away Saturday in Sylhet due to old age complications (Inna Lillahe....Razeun). She was 86. Her husband Late Main Uddin Chowdhury, was a former government official. Her Namaz-e-Janaja was held Sunday and she was buried in the graveyard of Hazrat Shahjalal (R:) Dargah premises. Apart from two sons, she left behind two daughters, two sons-in-law (Dr Nazmul Haque, a scientist and Mr Lokman Ahmed, Commissioner of Taxes) and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
