Mother, son killed in road mishap

CHITTAGONG, Feb 23 (UNB): An old woman and her son were killed in a tragic road mishap at Keranihat on Chittagong-Cox's Bazar highway under Satkania Upazila Monday.
Police said the accident occurred as a local minibus hit the woman and her son Bijoy Kundu Shill (45), while they were crossing the road. The name of the woman could not be known immediately.
The accident left the woman, wife of Mantu Chandra Shill of Kadurkhil in Boalkhali Upazila, dead on the spot and Bijoy injured critically.
