Wednesday, 16 April 2014

Bangladesh is expected to renew its memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with South Korea on sending workers on government-to-government basis in May this year.
Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain disclosed this while talking to reporters after a meeting with South Korean Ambassador Lee Yun Young at his office Wednesday, according to a news agency.
Stating that the tenure of the MoU is set to expire on June 14, the minister said it is expected to be renewed on the first week of May.
He also said new clauses will be incorporated in the renewed MoU to resolve several problems being faced under the previous one.
