MoU signed between BSTI and Bangladesh Trade Facilitation

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has recently been signed between Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) and Bangladesh Trade Facilitation (BTF) supported by USDA, to enhance capacity of BSTI as National Codex Contact Point, modernise Halal Laboratory, facilitate import-export services as TBT inquiry point and remove trade barriers through database-based risk assessment and risk mitigation. Director General (Grade-1) of BSTI Md Abdus Sattar and USDA Project Director Michael J Parr signed the MoU at the BSTI office in Dhaka recently.
