MoU signed for exporting medicines to S Lanka

Bangladesh on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sri Lanka to export pharmaceutical and medical products to island country. Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim and visiting Sri Lankan Health Minister Maithripala Sirisena inked the MoU on procurement of pharmaceuticals and medical devices on behalf of their respective sides at the Secretariat. Sri Lankan has shown interest to import 525 types of medicines from Bangladesh, he said, according to a news agency.
