Move to amend SIM registration forms

Steps will be taken to bring amendment to SIM registration forms, besides collecting photocopies of national ID cards from subscribers to check terrorism through mobile phones. Talking to BSS, Director of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) Rezaul Qader said the authority was also considering allowing mobile operators access to the national ID network so that they could make scrutiny of any national ID cards. — BSS
