Thursday, 27 February 2014

The Cabinet Committee on Law and Order Thursday decided to find out the sources of criminal activities being conducted in the name of religion.
The committee also decided to launch a mobile court drive against illegal car parking on roads across the country, and boost vigilance along the country’s border areas to prevent smuggling of drugs and intrusion of Rohingyas from Myanmar.
Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, also the chairman of the Cabinet Committee on Law and Order, talked to reporters after the first meeting of the committee under the government’s current tenure. The meeting was held at the Secretariat, according to a news agency.
