Movement of BNP to be constitutional

Friday, 1 August 2014

BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Friday said that the BNP’s post-Eid movement will be democratic and in keeping with the Constitution. The BNP’s highest policymaking standing committee will decide the programmes for the movement, he said at a views exchange programme with the newsmen at his Sardar Para residence in the district. Rizvi said: “The 20-party alliance, led by BNP, will set the future programmes after observing what sort of oppressive acts are unleashed by the government against the democratic movement.” He alleged that a one-party rule is going on in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, according to a news agency.
