Mozena unhurt in car crash

US Ambassador to Bangladesh Dan W Mozena on Friday narrowly escaped from a crash at Kapasia in Gazipur district. The car carrying Mozena and another man almost fell in a roadside ditch after skidding as its driver lost control over the vehicle near Louhodi village at about 9:30pm. The US envoy was on his way to visit a power plant of Solar Nano, the Grid-1 project under Solaric company, at Louhodi village under Kapasia Police Station. Kapasia Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Ahsan Ullah said Mozena’s car nearly fell in a 10-feet deep ditch after veering off the road near Louhodi High School. However, the driver managed to put a brake on the skidding vehicle before it fell into the ditch, he said. Mozena and the others are safe now, he added, according to a news agency.
