MRDI launches PR handbook for corporate sector

The Management and Resources Development Initiative (MRDI) in partnership with Manusher Jonno Foundation launched the 'Public Relations (PR) Handbook' at a programme in the city Saturday.
The handbook was designed for the PR practitioners to help develop their skills and capability to deal with the media more effectively.
Writer of the handbook M Emamul Haque, PR professionals, senior journalists and representatives from the corporate sector discussed the contents of the handbook.
The speakers said the handbook would be helpful for the PR practitioners to have a clear understanding of the PR practices in the present-day world and provide them with some useful tools for planning and executing effective media relations programmes.
The strategic needs of the PR practitioners have been property outlined in the handbook and there are suggestions on how to address the needs, they added.
