MSC maintain top slot in Women\\\'s Cricket

Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club earned third successive victory as well as maintained the top slot with six points in the 12-team 40-over-a-side Dhaka Premier Division Women's Cricket League by a massive 107 runs win over Ansar and VDP on the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Pratishthan (BKSP) Ground-4 Wednesday, reports UNB.
Batting first, Mohammedan SC scored 178 runs for 6 in 40 overs with Rumana Ahmed, who was adjudged player of the match, scoring run-a-ball 62 featuring 9 fours.
In reply, Ansar and VDP were all out for 71 runs in 37.5 overs.
Meanwhile, in the other match at City Club Ground, Indira Road Krira Chakra (201 for 3 in 40 overs) beat Orient Sporting Club (112 for all in 31.5 overs) by 89 runs to taste the first victory in the meet.
