MSC meet Abahani, Gazi Tank face Khelaghar in semis

Holders Dhaka Moham-medan SC meets their traditional rivals Dhaka Abahani Limited in the semifinal of the BIG BOSS Metropolis Premier Division T20 Cricket League today (Tuesday) at 2:30 pm at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, reports UNB.
Last year's runners-up Gazi Tank Cricketers will face newcomer Khelaghar SKS in the day's other semis at 6:30 pm at the same venue.
Satellite Television Desh TV will telecast both the semifinals live from Mirpur Stadium.
The final match will be held Wednesday at 6:30 pm while the third place deciding match between two losing semifinalists will be held at 1:30 pm on the same day and at the same venue.
Mohammedan SC smartly moved into the semis as Group A champions winning all the five group encounters, while Abahani Limited luckily managed a semifinal berth as Group B runners-up with three win and two losses.
Gazi Tank Cricketers also booked a seat for the last four as Group B champions, also with all win record, while Khelaghar SKS qualified for the semis in their first appearance as Group A runners-up with four wins and one defeat.
