MSC meet Abahani in Super Cup final today

Holders Mohammedan SC take on arch-rival Abahani Limited in the final of the Grameenphone Super Cup Football at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city today (Saturday), reports UNB.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith will be the chief guest in the final and distribute the prizes.
State-owned Bangladesh Television will telecast the match live, while Bangladesh Betar will broadcast running commentary of the final that will kick off at 3:30 pm.
Meanwhile, like the two semi-final matches, electronic goods manufacturer Walton will also offer attractive awards including one 110 CC Walton Fusion motorcycle, one 26" LCD TV and one 14" colour TV to the spectators through lottery in the final.
The rate of tickets for the final match remained at Tk 30 (eastern and western gallery) and Tk 50 (VIP gallery).
Earlier, on Tuesday, Mohammedan SC marched to the final beating Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club by 4-2 goals in the first semifinal while Abahani Limited booked their final berth defeating Muktijoddha Sangsad KC 5-4 in tiebreaker in the second semis Wednesday.
In the first edition of the prestigious Super Cup in 2009, Mohammedan SC won the trophy beating Abahani Limited in the final.

Champion team - Tk 10 million (one crore)
Runners-up team Tk 2.0 million
