MSC move to third slot beating Ctg Abahani

Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club again advanced to the 3rd slot in the 10-team Nitol-Tata Bangladesh Premier Football League beating Chittagong Abahani Limited by 2-0 goals in the 3rd leg match at the MA Stadium in Chittagong Sunday, reports UNB.
Towhidul Alam Sabuj put Mohammedan SC ahead in the very 6th minute while promising striker Wahed Ahmed confirmed the team's victory scoring one more goal in the 29th minute.
With the day's feat, the traditional black and white team Mohammedan SC again toppled Muktijoddha Sangsad KC securing 41 points from 25 matches while Chittagong Abahani Limited remained in the 8th position with their previous credit of 22 points from 25 encounters.
Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club is comfortably dominating the league table securing 55 points, Dhaka Abahani Limited were in distant 2nd position with 46 points while Muktijoddha Sangsad in the 4th place with 40 points, all playing 24 matches each.
