MSC win prestigious tie against Sheikh Russell

Dhaka's Mohammedan Sporting Club maintained their number two position at the points table as they came from behind to record an emphatic 2-1 victory over Sheikh Russell Krira Chakra in the Citycell Bangladesh League match held at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) in the city Monday, reports BSS.
After this win Mohammedan SC has accumulated 54 points and are almost certain to bags the second spot while Sheikh Russell KC had to remain at 47 points and find themselves drifted from runners-up race. Both teams have played 21 matches.
Despite taking early lead Sheikh Russell trailed by 1-2 margin at the breather.
Mohammedan's goal were scored by their Nigerian striker Alamu Bukola Olalekin and Zahid Hasan Emily while Rajan Mia netted the lone goal for the losers.
Rajan Mia put Sheikh Russell KC ahead early in the 9th minute with a gem of a shot after he received the ball from the left flank wing from Moroccan recruit Samir Omari's cross (1-0).
Bukola restored the parity for Mohammedan SC in the 19th minute with a fierce shot from Wali Faisal's minus (1-1).
Striker Emily sealed the fate of the match with a tremendous shot in the 32nd minute without giving any chance to Sheikh Russell KC's custodian Mamun Khan (2-1)
