M'singh, C'nawabganj road crashes kill three

Three people were killed in separate road accidents in Mymensingh and Chapainawabganj districts on Thursday, report agencies
In Mymensingh, a motorcyclist and his pillion rider died in a collision between their motorbike and a CNG-run autorickshaw on Mymensingh-Sherpur road in Tarakanda upazila of Mymensingh on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Murad, 40, and Mohammad, 50, both hailed from Bowla village of Phulpur upazila.
Tarakanda Police Station's Officer-In-Charge (OC) Abdullah Al Mamun said the bike and the autorickshaw collided with each other in Dakshin Bazar area near a bridge around 1:30 pm, leaving the two dead on the spot.
In Chapainawabganj, a motorcyclist was killed and another injured as their motorcycles collided head-on in Powel area under Jhilim union in Sadar upazila on Thursday noon.
The deceased was identified as Osman, 30, son of Wares Mistiri, a resident of Shishatala Amnura village in Sadar upazila.
OC of Chapainawabganj Sadar Police Station Md. Sajjad Hossain said seriously injured Osman was sent to Sadar hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
