MTB Foundation, with a view to commemorating the 50th anniversary of World Environment Day and celebrating this year's theme - 'Solutions to Plastic Pollution', recently distributed mango and guava trees among the coastal women group of Ayla Patakata in Barguna as a continuation of its project, titled 'Alternative Livelihood through Environment-friendly Initiative for Coastal Women Group', in coordination with the Association of Voluntary Actions for Society (AVAS). Samia Chowdhury, chief executive officer, and Golam Rabbani, associate from MTB Foundation, were present at the event.
