MTB holds AML & CFT Awareness Week-2022

The year 2022 marked 20 years of AML & CFT compliance in Bangladesh and pursuant to the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) directive at CAMLCO Conference 2022 towards creating customer awareness, MTB organized "MTB AML & CFT Awareness Week-2022" from May 28 to June 2 last, says a press release.
The event was inaugurated by Md. Masud Biswas, Head of Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) at the MTB Branch Anti Money Laundering Compliance Officer (BAMLCO) Conference 2022 on May 28 last.
The week-long program was dedicated towards creating awareness among MTB customers on AML & CFT compliance across all MTB Branches, Sub-Branches and Agent Banking Centres. Activities included special messages from Syed Mahbubur Rahman, MD & CEO and Rais Uddin Ahmad, DMD & CAMLCO.
