MTB Securities Rajshahi branch opened

MTB Securities, stock brokerage arm of Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) opened its Rajshahi branch Monday, said a press release.
Professor Muhammad Nurullah, pro vice-chancellor of the University of Rajshahi, inaugurated the branch as the chief guest.
MTB Managing Director and CEO Anis A Khan, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Meer Sajedul Basher, MTB Securities CEO Md Nazrul Islam Mazumder were present on the occasion.
Senior executives, capital market investors, leading business personalities and local elite were also present at the inaugural ceremony.
Professor Nurullah said MTB Rajshahi branch and MTB Securities Rajshahi branch aught to provide banking and stock brokerage services taking into considerations the culture, dynamics of local economy and environment of Rajshahi.
He also expected that the customers of MTB Securities would get stock brokerage services with low cost.
Mr Anis said MTB is keenly interested in spreading stock brokerage services to every nook and corner of the country, nearer to the door steps of capital market investors.
He also said that MTB Securities had been equipped with state of the art technology and will deliver tailor made stock brokerage services and products to its customers.
Mr Nazrul gave the formal vote of thanks.
