Mufti Izhar among nine indicted

CHITTAGONG, Apr 6 (UNB): A court here indicted on Sunday nine
people, including nayeb-e-ameer of Hefajat-e-Islam Mufti Izharul Islam and his son Harun Izharul, in a case filed in connection with a bomb blast at a madrasah in October last year.
Metropolitan Sessions Judge SM Mujibur Rahman framed the charges against them and fixed April 28 for the next hearing.
On February 10, police submitted a chargesheet against nine people,
including Mufti Izharul Islam and his son Harun Izharul, in the case filed in connection with the madrasah blast.
The seven other accused are Abdul Hye alias Salman, Habibur Rahman, Mohammad Ishaque, Monir Hossain, Abdul Mannan, Tafsir Ahmed and Mohammad Junayed.
