Mugger held over trader's murder at Uttara ATM booth

A trader was stabbed to death by a mugger in the Uttara area in the capital early Friday.
The deceased was identified as Sharif Ullah (45), a tiles businessman.
An official of Uttara West Police Station told the FE that the mugger stabbed the trader at an ATM booth of Dutch-Bangla Bank Ltd located at Sonargaon Janopath under sector no 11 of Uttara area in the city early hours of Friday (around 12:45am).
He said that they have arrested the culprit who was identified as Abdus Samad (38).
He said that hearing the screams of Sharif Ullah, local people caught Samad red-handed and handed him over to the police.
The police official further said that Samad was allegedly trying to snatch away money from Sharif at ATM booth.
