Mugger's body recovered in city

Police recovered dead body of an alleged mugger from a jheel (lake) at Rampura in the city.
The deceased was identified as Rasel, 23, son of Akhter Hossain, a trader. He used to reside at a rented house at 363/7, Madhubagh.
SI of Rampura police station Monir Hossain said after being informed by locals, they recovered the body from a waterbody adjacent to the Wapda Road at West Rampura at about 2:10pm.
He also said local people chased Rasel Thursday morning while he was running away after stealing cloth from a house. Suddenly, he jumped to the waterbody and drowned.
