Muggers chop to death biker, injure another

Muggers chopped to death a biker and injured another one at Shalaipur in Pabna Sadar Upazila on Sunday night. The dead is Anwar Hossain, 35, son of late Abul Hossain of Ekdanta village of Atgharia upazila of the district. Police said some hijackers intercepted Anwar and chopped with sharp weapons when he was returning home with his brother Malek by motorcycles at 11:00pm, leaving him dead on the spot. The muggers snatched their two motorcycles and fled the scene, according to BSS.
