Muggers held with firearmsin Pabna

Our Correspondent PABNA, Oct 8: Police arrested two muggers with firearms while they were trying to snatch money from a trader at Kalikapur village of Sujanagar upazila of Pabna on Saturday noon. The arrestees Liton Sardar, 20, and Sheikh Shahin, 22, of the village Kalikapur were kept in the police custody said Ahasanul Haque, the officer in charge of Sujanagar police station. Police recovered a firearm and a knife used in mugging from them. Police said the accused muggers accosted Ashok Kumar, a trader of the upazila on Kalikapur road when he was going to Dhaka with Tk. 30 thousand.
