Muggers kill bank manager in Manikganj

Muggers shot dead a bank manager, and snatched away Tk 1.5 million in a daylight attack on him at Singair in Manikganj Monday. Police and witnesses said, Maniruzzaman Khan (50), manager of Rupali Bank Bayera Branch, was going to his office when the attack was launched in the morning. Earlier, he withdrew the money from Sonali Bank's Manikganj Branch. Motorcyclist Biltu was arrested and a case was filed. - UNB
