Muggers loot Tk 25,000 injuring fish trader in city

A gang of armed snatchers shot at a fish trader and took away Tk 25,000 from him at East Rajabazar under Sher-e-Banglanagar Police Station in the city on Saturday. The victim was identified as Hanif, 40, a resident of East Rajabazar. Abdul Momin, officer-in-charge of Sher-e-Banglanagar thana, said a gang of 4-5 muggers intercepted Hanif and snatched away Tk 25,000 from his possession while he was going to Karwanbazar at about 5:00am. They also shot at Hanif in the leg, leaving him injured, according to UNB.
