Muggers stab businessman in city

Unidentified miscreants stabbed a businessman and snatched away Tk 27,000 from him in Old Dhaka on Thursday. Witnesses said the incident took place around 6:00am in the city’s Lalbagh area. The victim is Mustakim Hossain Babu, 35, an ornament trader and owner of a gold shop. He was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in critical condition. Mustakim owns an ornament-making (TC gold) factory in Lalbagh’s Rasulbagh, according to a news agency.
