Muhammad Ali has been appointed as managing director (MD) of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd recently, said a press release..
Prior to this, he worked as MD (current charge) of the bank since August 1, 2007.
Ali joined Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd as senior executive vice-president on July 20, 2005 and was promoted to deputy managing director on January 1, 2006.
Ali is an MA in Economics and started his career in the Sonali Bank in 1977 as a probationary officer.
