Muhith for stronger economic ties with Kazakhstan

Finance Minister AMA Muhith has stressed the need for coordinated initiatives for stronger economic ties with Kazakhstan.
The minister came up with the observation while met Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov on Sunday.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the ongoing 47th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of Asian Development Bank (ADB), according to a message received in Dhaka, reports BSS.
Mr Muhith and Mr Sultanov discussed the matters of mutual interest to improve the existing good relations between Bangladesh and Kazakhstan in the fields of economic cooperation, trade and business.
The finance minister also handed over a letter of invitation from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina addressed to the Kazakh Prime Minister inviting him to visit Bangladesh.
Kazakh Vice-Minister for Finance Ruslan Dalenov and Ambassador of Bangladesh Mosud Mannan were present at the meeting.
