Muhith inaugurated Nat’l Income Tax Day

Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith inaugurated the Celebration of National Income Tax Day featuring a colorful rally at National Board of Revenue (NBR) premises  Tuesday with the slogan of ‘No alternative to income tax in building a happy nation’.
A rally, attended by people of every walk of life with posters and festoons, was brought out from NBR and paraded the city street through National Press Club, Supreme Court, Matsya Bhaban.
State minister for finance and planning MA Mannan, NBR chairman Nazibur Rahman and other zonal officials attended the event.
Cricketers including Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah Riyad, Tamim Iqbal, Mustafizur Rahman and Athar Ali were present at the program.
Theatre and cultural personalities and litterateurs also took part in the ceremony, according.
