Muhith leaves for S Korea tomorrow

Finance Minister AMA Muhith will leave Dhaka tomorrow (Sunday) for South Korea to attend the Fourth High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness (HLF-4) in Busan. South Korean President Lee Mayung Bak will formally inaugurate the Forum. The Finance Minister will lead an 11-member delegation that includes Cabinet Secretary M Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, and Economic Relations Division (ERD) Secretary Iqbal Mahmood and Joint Secretary Bijon Kumar Baishya. Ministers from over 120 countries have confirmed their participation at the High Level Forum to be held from November 29-December 1, said an ERD official. Besides the official delegation, a four-member NGO delegation from Bangladesh will also take part in the Forum. -UNB
